Rope access is a form of work positioning that applies practical rope work to difficult access scenarios for a large range of industrial needs. The course is run to any of the three levels, in full accordance with the IRATA procedures for certification of industrial rope access personnel -3rd edition January 2001. These procedures have gained acceptance around the world including England, France, Canada, Australia and Malaysia and allow for the safe positioning of an operator in difficult situations without the need for scaffolding etc. The course covers applicable legislation, the theory of fall factors, shock-loads and damages caused in the event of a fall and care and inspection techniques of Personal Protective Equipment.
